How To Use And Earn From JW Player In Your Blogger.com Blog

Today I am going to tell you how you can use and earn from JW Player by LongTail Video from your Blogger.com blog. Few days back someone asked me how to use JW Player in there blog, so here it is. LongTail Video is a leading company for the JW Player.

Here are the following steps to get JW Player for your blog

1)       Go to Blogger.com -> Click on Design for the following blog -> Edit HTML

2)      Find the </head> tag

3)      Just before the end of head tag place the below code

4)      Now place the below code were you want to display your JW Player

Change the following things before you place the code:

a)      Change The Longtail Video AdSolution ID

Change the AdSolution ID with your Longtail Video AdSolution ID and if you don’t have the AbSolution ID then you can sign up for free, to signup now Click Here . Or if you don’t want to show ads just remove this entire line ( so.addVariable('ltas.cc', ' AdSolution ID  ');  )

b)      Change the Google Analytics ID whit your ID (ID is something like UA-XXXXXXXX-XX).

c)       Change the Video URL with your video URL or with YouTube video URL.

d)      Change the Preview Image URL with your preview image URL (Preview image show before video get played).

There is a facebook share button pligin I have given if you want to remove it just remove the ,fbit-1 from this line so.addVariable('plugins', 'ltas,gapro-1,googlytics-1,fbit-1'); .

Note: If you want to add two player in one page then change the 1 in jwplayer1 (in 1^st line 3^rd line and last 3^rd line) with 2 in 2^nd player, if you want to add three player then change it with 3 in 3^rd player and so on.

5)      How to setup Longtail Video AdSolution

a)      Click here to sign up/sign in for/to your Longtail Video AdSolution Account

b)      Sign up/sign in for/to your account

i)        To sign up (who don’t have account in Longtail Video AdSolution ):-

(1)    To sign up click on SIGN UP NOW button (middle right of the page)

(2)    Now fill the from accordingly

(3)    And If you Agree to their Partner Agreement tick the box in the last line

(4)    Then click on Submit (Submit if you agree to the Partner Agreement and if you are not agreeing with their Partner Agreement you can’t sign up for Longtail Video AdSolution account)

(5)    Now you will receives a mail in your E-Mail Inbox/Spam/Junk folder (the e-mail ID you have provided while singing up) within 2hours

If you didn’t receive your e-mail in 2 hours please contact them

(6)    After you receive the mail open and read and click where they told you to click this account activation link

(7)    After clicking you will see they asked you to give Email ID (give the E-Mail ID by which you have signed up) and Password after filling them click on submit

(8)    Now you are in your Dashboard, to setup a new site to show the ads in your JS Player

Go to Dashboard -> Setup -> Channel Setup

There you will see your site name with site and status “Pending Approval/Approved/Rejected”

(9)    If your site status is Pending Approval or Approved click on Add a New Channel to This Site below the site name (on which you want to show ads)

(10)Fill the from accordingly then click on Save

(11)Now you will see a channel is added to your following site name,

(a)    There you will see Channel Code below that you will find the following channel code is written copy the Channel Code and go to Step 4.a

(b)   Or click on Launch Setup Wizard in that row

Select the option respectively and follow the steps

ii)       To sign in (who have A/C in Longtail Video AdSolution ):-

(1)    To sign in click on  Login » (written in white, top-right of the page)

(2)    Give your username (mostly username is your e-mail ID which you gave while signed up for your A/C) and password (password is when you verified your E-Mail ID the password you gave at that time (If you haven’t changed the password later) then click on Login

(3)    Now you are in your Dashboard, to setup a new site to show the ads in your player

Go to Dashboard -> Setup -> Channel Setup -> click on Add Another Site to This Account

(4)    Fill the form respectively then click on OK/Done now you are in Dashboard -> Setup -> Channel Setup

There you will see your site name with site and status Pending Approval for the following site (for the site just now you have filled the from)

(5)    Now click on Add a New Channel to This Site below the site name (on which you want to show ads)

(6)    Fill the from accordingly then click on Save

(7)    Now you will see a channel is added to your following site name,

(a)    There you will see Channel Code below that you will find the following channel code is written copy the Channel Code and go to Step 4.a

(b)   Or click on Launch Setup Wizard in that row

Select the option respectively and follow the steps
